The whole issue was that Peter was being too overprotective of her, preventing her or getting in the way of things she wanted to do for her job, which how it's presented in the game and the prequel novel is pretty understandable. By the end of the game, Peter learns to be more trusting in her work, and she also recognizes that she can't do everything alone. That's how their partnership is regrown, and their relationship restarts.

ok u did explain it better for me but considering she does put herself into unnecessary danger. But she probably she my least favorite version of the character so far

As long as she stops invading military bases with no backup and bitching at Peter when he does the logical thing of trying to help her...

I think the game emphasized that the pair work best together as partners and there are things MJ can accomplish that Peter can't, even if she generally gets out of her depth at times and needs Peter's help.

And I say this as someone who is definitely not pro-MJ as a reporter.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with it, but conceptually I figure it's just to write her out so Peter has to deal with Miles and the Symbiote on his own.

She was witness to a terrorist attack in the main game, so she's seen violence, death, and destruction first hand.

People did suffer PTSD after 9/11 and not just survivors and first responders but also bystanders and witnesses. Heck people who endure school shootings suffer through it as well.

But then you see how sometimes she needs Peter's help and can't just jump into a situation without preparation, like at the Grand Central Station incident. And by the time she saves him from the burning building, they both learn they need to trust each other, which is shown how they are able to handle the Osborn break-in near the end of the game.

But then you see how sometimes she needs Peter's help and can't just jump into a situation without preparation, like at the Grand Central Station incident. And by the time she saves him from the burning building, they both learn they need to trust each other, which is shown how they are able to handle the Osborn break-in near the end of the game.

I wouldn't call it "babying" so much as genuine worry and concern over her safety. He wasn't treating her like a child or someone who wasn't capable in my opinion. But I guess that would probably come across as "babying" to someone who's really assertive or outgoing.

The Sable thing was a complete accident that could have been easily misconstrued.
