Broken jaw, shattered teeth, a couple of ribs, his clavicle, and his right wrist, broken in this illusion. He was experiencing unimaginable pain, but... it wasn't real. And he'd felt much, much worse in the past. Battersea was an absolute amateur compared to Jagam when it came to inflicting pain.
He fell out of the imprint in the boulder and then just laid there, wondering when this pointless bullshit would be done with.

"Crap."
Jack approached Battersea. Bedlam had said that Battersea was a bit weaker in the grapple than anything else, at least compared to everything else. Not that that helped as much as Jack would want.
With a sudden flash of his Snake Eyes technique Jack rushed in to grab an arm and try and force Battersea into a grapple.
"Batte-" was all she could get out before Battersea -- a young Battersea at that -- hurled himself at Totoma and laid into him with a vicious, merciless, relentless volley of punches. He beat the mutt into a bloody pulp before throwing him in the purebred, sending them both careening into a boulder.
Okay. That hurt.
Not as much as the idiot mutt with his big mouth, but certainly enough to make her regret being unable to get out of the way in time.
"Get. The ****. Off!" she gritted as she shoved Totoma out of the indentation they made and to the ground. She then stepped over him and limped back to the battle. "Idiot."

Seeing itself now in a blasted desert, Adam instinctively spreads itself out, increasing it's surface area and partially shading the group.
Simon Battersea. This was about learning the enemy before confronting them. Adam advances quickly, activating The Circle Screams to close the distance.

'Have fun picking your teeth up,' was Sarada's reply. 'Oh, and I hope you at least pay attention so the same thing doesn't happen in real life.'
Her crimson aura exploded around her as she flew into motion, closing in on Battersea. When she was close enough, she suddenly dropped down and tried to trip him with her legs, then her tail. if she got him on the ground, then she could try and wrestle him into submission.
"That's it..." He muttered to himself, pulling out his communicator.
Charco was done being confused by all of these sudden scene changes, he was done with trying to be considerate of the others, he was tired of trying to think his way through this.
Popping out the ear buds, he stuffed them in before tapping a button on the device, starting the song. The chaotic beats and sounds blasting into his ears had the opposite affect on him, as his mind and body relaxed.
The air around him began to shimmer much like the illusionary heat wave of their current setting, yet soon enough, the shimmer erupted into a green aura of energy, which trailed behind him as he shot towards Battersea, seeking to drive his knee into the imaginary man's face.

As for Chou, he to blasts music from his phone.:
“ The Touch.”
As the music plays in, he invokes his Dragon Orb as irbtion and his power level spikes times two. His right arm shot into a ton of pain, steam coming from it as the hand turned metallic! As the fist size was the size of a three story building.
He literally roars from the pain inflicted on himself. As he watches Charco, looming for moment to strike.
“ Your body is in a great deal of pain, real pain. Is it worth it?”
“ Shut Up Master Unit!”
Totoma vanishes.
————
In the real world, Totoma stumbles and finds he alone is awake. The others are all in a deep mental sparring session. He alone is back in the real world.
Except Kami.
Who looks pissed.
Faster than he can think he and her are outside, her hand on his throat.
“You stupid, arrogant, pissant!”
She throws him through two of the Lookout trees, stalking towards him with a fire surrounding her aura. Her eyes begin to glow.

Two things were very quickly apparent.
This was more a History lesson than anything else, and while Kami was at the very least attempting to prevent any lasting harm to their physical bodies ... that did not mean she would not attempt to make them hurt. Which itself was an amusing idea to the Oni as she
Totoma did not care for pain, or suffering, if the end result was not a true life or death situation. In a way it was a form of survivor's guilt, Ishtar surmised but it did mean one thing ... the boy was far more psychologically damaged than the Oni had initially assumed.
Then he was gone in the blink of an eye, and the golden-eyed Oni understood. Kami would be talking to him ... and given the stakes of her gamble- and what the boy's mother had done- Ishtar was not sure if that was going to be particularly pleasant.
---
Ishtar turned her attention to Simon Battersea then, and watched as Charco, and Sarada were the first to enter the fray.
And after a moment of silent contemplation, the Oni grunted and bounced into step; eyes carefully on the dance about to happen between the trio as she worked on getting a feel for this simulated Battersea. How did he move ? What did he target ? Did he leave himself exposed ? In the end the golden-eyed Oni did not feel herself capable of engaging with the man herself, down and arm as she was even in her mind's eye. Yet she could at the very least coordinate the movements of her new student, and the boy who fought with the ferocity of long dead lizards.
'I am watching Sarada, and will guide you as best I can'.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Without warning and a chance to react, he was out of the illusion and thrown through two of the lookout's trees. He rolled to a stop, then pushed himself up into a kneeling position. A wide grin was plastered across his face.
"Yeah, that's more like it," he said, standing up. Kami's approach was intimidating and he did take a few steps back before dropping into a fighting stance. "Just what mom used to call me when I was being a little shithead."
His mother had, in fact, called him a "stupid, arrogant pissant" at some point later on in his training.
"Go ahead and beat me to the brink of death. It's the only way I'll learn."

Battersea! Even an illusion could prove a worthy enemy though Sasheem wondered at what point in time, this Battersea was copied from. Either way ot was time to find out. Sasheem figured he wouldn't be going to the tournament anyway, so this may be his only chance to try and kill Battersea.
Sasheem exhaled. Concentrated upon one thing. Annihilation of his target. Three arms sprouted from each of his sides and one on his back totalling in seven. The sacred Naga Palm.
Sasheem propelled himself upwards, slung the technique Kami had taught him and stretched out one of his arms to issue a chop at the back of 'Battersea's' neck as two more aimed to punch him in his gut.
