He went from dealing drugs and guns to slaying vampires. That one hell of a promotion.

This movie has to be R rated. PG-13 will be a waste. Wish they could have picked a younger guy. Prefer studios at least pick actors in their 30's for future films.

Yeah, I'm wondering what they're going to do with Blade since he's a very difficult character to apply with the kind of tone and style the MCU movies have.

I was figuring that made him more likely to appear in the Hulu stuff then in something like this.

But still. Blade! And Mahershala Ali .

Blade in the comics deals with more than just Vampires. So expanding things out a bit would be a good start.

I wonder if the film will be rated R though. Probably not, because...Disney.

Take the cursing out of Blade 2 what else made it rated R? Blade is better off as rated R project but it is not imperative for good blade movie.

Ali is an amazing actor. I am pretty hyped about this

There was a lot of blood in that movie. Remember the dude that got blown up in the hall way from that explosive foam or whatever? Not happening in a Disney movie lol.

Don't get me wrong. Doesn't have to be rated R to be good for the character of Blade, but I do feel that that version of Blade did set the bar for who he is today, and what kind of universe he lives in.

It's almost too perfect. I wasn't expecting this and I definitely didn't expect to be this hyped about it.

I prefer they just go R Rated since the original Blade was R Rated. I already said it last week on x books. this could be the start of an adult contemporary marvel universe. If Blade is successful, marvel can then introduced X-Force and become bolder telling mature stories.
