I enjoy Ultimate Spider-Man and yes the internet does not like the show...apparently they hate fun

sure its a little goofy at times but its very enjoyable and also has a very diverse main cast....Hispanic girl (White Tiger), Hispanic Male (Nova), Black Male (Luke Cage)

In answer of your second question; yes, I prefer the Spectacular Spider-Man, the 90s one, and both 80s cartoons
I do enjoy Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, and one person I know said people were cheering for the show in one of last years comic cons

he and his team make some serious mistakes...was it the second or third episode where they bought a DoomBot onboard in an attempt to prove themselves and take out an A List supervillain?

I will give Ultimate and Spectacular a whirl with him. K and I checked out the 80s ones many months ago and were laughing the whole time and the boy ignored it; not as bad as the 60s cartoon but it was pretty goofy. I'm afraid to see how dated the 90s cartoon is now since that was what I loved and the X-Men cartoon from those days was pretty unwatchable when I checked that out.

Yeah, don't watch the '90s cartoon again. No good will come of it.

I'm with Michael on that one. Spider-Man: TAS has not aged well.

I like the 90s show, saw it again recently and enjoyed it
It's funny to see the word blood censored when they talk vampires and replace it with plaasmaaa, they should've taken the CCA word from the 70s on monsters in comics
And Peter himself said the word blood a few times

    It's the third episode

You saw the whole 60s cartoon? Did you skip seasons 2 and 3? The ones with the wacky green sky? More green villains? And the most excess use of swinging stock footage?
