Honestly, I'll only get into Minecraft when it's fifty years into the future and you can make photorealistic replicas of real-world structures.

    Mormel needs a small correction:

Portable wishwashers is a euphemism for another p-word, as I've learned today. A remnant from a really weird censoring system on another message board.
No, it was from the old chat room here.

    Lightsabretooth doesn't believe????:

I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what he's doing. The crazy part is that you can watch one episode of that "Finding Bigfoot" show and you've seen them all.

    *crickets in the darkness*
    Moneymaker: Did you hear that
Other person: yeah, that sounded like a Squatch! Let's go over there!

    Repeat 10 times
Closing scene, "well, we didn't find it again this time, but tune in next time, we totally are going to sit in the dark again all night long and listen to nature make noises that we're certain are Sasquatches!" Oh, and we yell and make noises that we pretend Sasquatches make because we are experts on this animal that has never ever been studied in any real way, ever!"
Heh, bad as that is, no one's worse than Bill Birnes on UFO Hunters.

"This guy says he saw a light in the sky! That's proof of aliens!"

And the science guys on his crew just shake their heads...

bert walks the walk and talks the talk:

we went to dinner on Friday (a Bennihana type place), and got talking to the geeky couple sitting next to us.

the Walking Dead came up, and when I referenced the comic, the Wife said to her Husband -- "see?? COMIC. . not this "Graphic Novel" hipster ****").

YAY! Well done. Not as good as "funnybooks" but close.

    Yeoman thinks I'm psychic:

Did they ask him to stop doing so?
How should I know? I don't have access to his email box. I don't care anyway. That direction leads to "rules lawyering", something I despise and would make a bannable offense if I could.

Dogpiling would result once posting styles were discovered. Now dogpiling is uncool and I am guilty of it myself but if the poster isn't technically breaking any forum posting rules then what can be done? I know the answer is to be mature and to not engage the poster but the nature of any message board is that someone who doesn't know the posters MO will engage and the process repeats ad nauseum...so, is there any answer for the rule following troll?
    The solution is fire.

Indeed. Most people just don't want to wade through all the crap to find it... which is why having nerdy friends...

or *ahem* listening to the right sort of podcast *ahem*...

    ...is so nice.

It's a big cosmic science fiction adventure featuring a bunch of Marvel's space-based heroes. It helps to solidify the whole glorious mess into something more coherent, while never losing sight of the fact that it's there to tell a rollicking space opera adventure story.
