So now that we know a few of the villains involved with this event, because let's face it these z-list/forgotten villains are in no way the main villain of this event, what are your thoughts on The Orb, Dr. Midas, the Exterminatrix, and their minions the Mindless ones.
In my opinion I think this will elevate their villain status.

I think that having the Orb involved in a murder involving eyes is a interesting way to use him, the mindless ones at least have a new twist to them as they begin to learn, Exterminatrix is pretty awesome in my opinion, and Dr. Midas might make a cool Fantastic Four villain.

one thing i've always been curious about. is Doctor Midas the same Mordecai Midas that used to wear a toga and pester Iron Man? because it seems kind of coincidental that he'd have the last name Midas and wear a gold version of the Iron Man armor, if he weren't Mordecai.

Nope. Completely different character, because this guy gained his powers from 6 years worth of exposure to radiation. So he couldn't have been active at that time.

It really is just one of those weird happenstances. Either that, or Grant Morrison who created him, used some VERY obscure stuff as inspiration. 0_o

On the other hand I wouldn't put it past him. He used Libra and the HUMAN FLAME!

I think in Uncanny it's been more that Emma can be telepathic but she basically uses the telepathy of a nearby telepath. Cuckoos or Jean.
