In that case, will he show up in HUNTED soon then?

Taskmaster and Black Ant admitted that they didn't get everyone on Kraven's wish list - the Jackal seems like a harder chore than most of the bank robber-types they did catch, so they probably would have deemed him more trouble than he's worth.

Out of all of the female Spider-Man villains (and admittedly there's not a whole lot to choose from), I'd say my favorite is Calypso.

It doesn't matter how long Calypso's been dead, if a writer wants to use her then she'll be back. Besides, a chick practicing voodoo coming back from the dead pretty much writes itself actually. Yes, Calypso is the Harley Quinn to Kraven's Joker but it worked before and it can easily work again.

but which Jackal would they even go after? wasn't Ben the last guy to run around in that identity?

Yeah, and he went back to being Scarlet Spider.

Point, but he's probably still in Las Vegas.

The Sinister Sixty "appears" in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #6, with only a handful of female villains on the roster.

    • Ana Kravinoff
    • Black Cat
    • Calypso
    • Joystick
    • Lady Octopus
    • Sasha Kravinoff
    • Scorpia
    • Scream
    • Screwball
    • Shriek
    • Stunner

White Rabbit seems suspiciously missing, but it's cool to see what Marvel considers to be Spidey's main roster of female baddies.

I would've replaced Black Cat with White Rabbit, to be honest.

I know why she gets lobbed as a "villain" but I really have a hard time looking at her that way.

Even on that image it looks excessive putting her next to the worst of the worst of Spidey's Rogues Gallery.

(She looks really good there though ).

The comicbook character Black Cat is never to be counted among the worst of the worst of the comicbook character Spider-Man's rogues gallery Said comicbook character is NOT a stone-cold killer or anything.

The ones I remember most (admittedly from the 90's) would be: Shriek, Stunner, Lady Octopus, and Scream (though she's probably more of a Venom villain?) Then of course there's Lady Beetle, and White Rabbit and the female Goblin (whose name I can't remember).

I liked the concept of Stunner, wish she would have been used more and was an actual bodybuilder/bruiser instead of a holographic tease.

Especially in this day and age of how people use the Internet and social media to present themselves differently from how they are in real life . . . Stunner would be even more relevant than ever. I could also say the same about Lady Octopus going back into business for herself peddling her VR tech as a CEO of a major corporate firm, given how VR is increasingly going mainstream.

P.S. The female Goblin was called Menace, real name Lily Hollister.

    Moonstone
She is not a main villain of Spider-man. But they did spar.
    Moonstone fought Spider-man in Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 1 61
