Looking back at all the different published line-ups of DC teams, what was your favorite? (in other words, the line-up had to have existed in the past/present, not your 'dream line-up')

Bryan Hill's Outsiders run was a major disappointment but I maintain that his Outsiders line-up was super dope and full of so much potential.

it's a nice balance of old character to the team and new characters to the team; with a solid mix of abilities. they could've been a dope team under a writer with more experience balancing team books.

Aside from the obvious classic team line-ups, I really liked the roll call of characters in the first year of JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE--even more than the JUSTICE LEAGUE AMERICA cast that preceded it. This was when Giffen, DeMatteis, Sears and Marcos were the creative team. The League members were Nathaniel Adam, Rex Mason, Buddy Baker, Karen Starr, Wally West, Ralph Dibny, Sue Dibny, Dmitri Pushkin and Catherine Cobert. Favourite issue was 6 (September 1989), "No More Teachers' Dirty Looks."

I agree with you. While I loved that book, I have to admit that they seemed to be running out of good ideas after JLA #40. That gap from #41 - #52 was pretty mediocre before Breakdowns began in #53.

But that line-up through #40 was the best.

I have to admit I've only started to get interested in the Squad when Harley, Deadshot, King Shark, Enchantress, Killer Croc, Reverse Flash, and Cheetah... basically characters I'm already interested are in it, since it's not a book I usually pick up.
