She said it's because the X-men are using it. Since they had the brood control egg eaten by BRoo making him the Brood King, she probably can't use it. Same for mystique.

This is why the various Marvel Editorial Depts. must work together by exchanging characters for a story arc. The X-Office has way too many characters as it is.
