(I'm assuming that's based on my time zone, which would be Eastern Daylight / New York City time).

I mean, we waited in the past, but similarly IIRC, some of that time was pondering what the protocol should be. Hopefully, Kai will be able to check in before too long, but (again, IIRC) is that the last time, the winner who was busy at work would've been fine with a runner up taking over. In case this comes to head while I'm asleep (there is an 18 hour time difference PDT and AEDT), I will preemptively cast a tiebreaker for K7P5V should it be needed.
