There is no DCEU character that I’m less enthused by than their Barry Allen. As mediocre as the CW can be, the first season of the Flash did a great job with the dead mom and imprisoned dad angle. This version just really doesn’t bring anything new to the table and I feel like someone watched the Iron Man and Spider Man scenes from Civil War, and were basically like we need some of that in our movie.

I mean, if you are going to overhaul Barry Allen's personality to make him more 'exciting' then I'm okay with making it closer to Bart Allen's personality like they did in the DCEU rather than just transplanting Wally's personality on to Barry's something that mostly the DTV movies and to an extent, the CW version are guilty of.

I've actually seen people who watched Wally's appearances on JLU and Teen Titans for the first time get confused and ask why his Wally is acting like Barry.

At that point of his life, Arthur seemed to identify more with the surface people than his Atlantean heritage. He was feeling alienated from Atlantis at that point.

Another thing that ZSJL restored a good Batman and performance by BA. No wonder BA performance in JL 2017 was pretty rough most of it was reshoots and the material in them was pretty awful.

And appropriately Batman wasn't present during the final showdown with Steppenwolf.
