How would Miles know who Peter is but other then that it would be pretty cool

I suspect they are going to drag out the MJ romance build-up over at least 3 movies. In this film, MJ will probably have more screentime than in the first one but Peter would have his eyes set on another girl (maybe Gwen?) after Liz's departure, only to be left heartbroken at the end again.

The way they handled the "reveal," they could basically do whatever they want with her at this point.

Honestly, I was more bothered by Miles and Anya being in that cartoon then I was Gwen.

I think Marvel over-hypes Gwen too much but at least she has merit to being featured in a Peter Parker Spider-Man story.

I can't see Sony wanting to sever ties to what is essentially the biggest thing in movies right now.
