Ads for this movie are EVERYWHERE. It reminds me of Aquaman’s marketing. Disney must have saw what Warner Brothers pulled off with Khal Drogo as the star of a superhero movie and believes it can pull the same with Sansa.

While that is true, i feel that for the "last" instalment of these movies, there is very little hype. It is like nobody is really attached to these characters. Sadly no amount of publicity could change this so late in the game.

Apocalypse killed the good will built by DoFP; also, people just aren't attached to this Jean and Scott because they disliked the movie they debuted.

A repeated storyline (Age of Apocalypse/X3) that we don't care about because a big name (Hickman/Marvel Studios) will completely ignore it.

It also involves many characters completely different from their 616 versions, and we're hoping what's coming next is more faithful to the original.

The Hollywood Reporting did not say that. They projected the domestic opening to be $50 million and that’s it. The article is clickbait.
