Could be fun. I'd have loved to see MJ and Janet van Dyne interacting a long time ago. Kind of writes itself --- MJ is (or used to be) a fashion model, and Janet's classically well-known as a fashion designer who made all of her own costumes. If we go for the Renew Your Vows version where MJ runs her own fashion boutique and blog, I could even see Janet taking her on as a protégé of sorts.

MJ was a runway model, an entry-level model that was ballooned into a magazine and cover model by Michelinie and Owsley against Ron Frenz and Tom Defalco's intentions.
And Michelinie ended MJ's career in the Jonathan Caesar story, and MJ wasn't a model for most of the 90s. She was a small TV actress and then she was a psychology student.
She returned to becoming a model/actress after her "death" and then during the separation when she was in LA, and then she went on to become a theatre actress. Then Post-OMD, MJ went back to LA, then came back and opened a nightclub, and owning a nightclub was actually one of her longest-jobs and then she became a Stark Industries executive and PA.
So yeah, she wasn't a model for as long as people think she was.
Much like how Peter himself wasn't in high school, or bonded with the Venom symbiote, for as long as a lot of people think he was, but both have become iconic status quos associated with his character. Another thing, ultimately, that he and Mary Jane have in common; both of them have particular arcs or setups that were actually rather brief in the original comics, but made into character-defining (and sometimes character-limiting) status quos by both fans and later writers.
