I think the Rock would have been hilarious as Namor, especially bouncing off Doctor Doom, Ben Grimm, Reed Richards, and T'Challa.

I think the Rock could also have worked as the Champion of the Universe. I can see Arnold (with CGI) in that role, too.

I'd agree with the Rock's movies not being that rewatchable he's really short on the fight scenes. Which is what I usually watch action movies over for. Lost count of the number of times I've watched Blade 2 or even a basic Steven Seagal movie lol.

He also has a lot of gross-out humor in his movies which doesn't help.I think his best fights are in Walking Tall. Hopefully he remedies this in Hobbs and shaw.

I think Jumanji is the only thing of his that I've seen of his that I'd consider watching again.

The Rock doesn't really give me Namor vibes at all.

So, the Action Man Mt. Rushmore, or at least what that used to mean til not long ago. I got-

    1-Arnold
    2-Van Damme?
3-Snipes- I'm not convincing anybody with this one unless of course he could be 2 but from King of New York thru Blade 3 (and yes it counts), and this is my issue over Johnson. Rock hasn't made much that was any more memorable than Snipes LEAST memorable movie, which was Drop Zone, right? And that's total **** because Dwayne Johnson was a WWE stuntman for years before the movies and to his credit, one would think he'd be more adapt to being a larger presence in action movies. Wesley Snipes couldn't lean on much CGI to help his save the day either.
4-Segal. Kinda hate to do it, he's least likable guy out of the bunch but for a spell he had hit after hit after hit. I prolly could be convinced this goes to Kenanu Reeves but for the same reason I wouldn't put Stalone in here, he's built his action man status on 2 franchises and that's a handicap imo.

Even after that Johnson is prolly next up fwiw, then Vin Diesel.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
    You bet yer ass.

... the utter disrespect to Stallone

Rambo alone gets him on this list.

Demolition man is underrated as hell. Judge Dredd isn't a real Dredd movie but it is a pure "macho guy shoots ****" action man movie. Expendables! Cliffhanger!

I'd put Seagal before Van Damme can't lie i lost respect for Van Damme when he made that KB movie where Tyson couldn't lay a hand on him. Like FOH He's jobbed to a 1,000 random mooks but Tyson can't touch him. Seagal who's usually invincible even let Tyson eff him up in the movies like wtf? But Snipes is definitely in there the Blade franchise and Art of War alone put him up there.

Hmmp. What's his qualifation fall under, volume discount or veteran's exception? Stallone is the tour guide at Action Man Mt. Rushmore, he can wear his Copland uniform. Ain't nobody disrespectin' Cobra. I would argue Judge Dredd is an A-B-C robot away from keeping him off the list alone though.

Now that I think about it- if Carl Weathers and Dolph Lundgren do a Sayain fusion, whomever that dude becomes prolly jumps Stallone on g.p.

Which is a long was of saying that I checked out of the FF slash current Statham/Johnson franchise, after the movie where they dragged the safe through Miami. After that I said to myself, one day I'm gonna have the flu and hopefully USA network is running a FF slash current Statham/Johnson franchise marathon and between lapses I may hope to catch up. Leads me to a question tho- What actually IS Dwayne Johnson's most rewatchable movie?? Am I wrong is saying it's STILL The Rundown? Love that movie but dude makes largely forgettable movies. Also the studios have a share of the blame too.

I would argue, on an action movie level, Jean Claude VanDam has made (albeit less expensive) 'better', cooler for sho, or more memorable movies than The Rock has. I appreciate he's of color more than anything and back in the day when I was wrasslin' nut, I didn't miss a RAW, Smackdown or PPV when he was on the rise and then on top. I also feel he's made more movies that Schwarzenegger yet there is no T2 or Commando on his IMDB page. I guess because Johnson isn't into a great deal of R-rated fare, I mean I kinda dug Faster for what it was but as a whole it's like I guess I'm cool with him doing it, I'm just not compelled to participate in it. Or I guess wake me when a Black Adam trailer drops.
Now I guess It's Moana, I've never seen it, mostly because I don't like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Im no hip-hop head, but to me he raps like a 5th grader.

As for who goes on Action Rushmore, no love for Bruce Willis?

Sly Stallone literally called Willis a worthless punk who doesn't remember how to work. When the Don of the Expendables lights you up on twitter, Action Rushmore and Valhalla are closed forevermore.

Was this before or after Stallone was in the news for sexual assault accusations?

Whoooa! First time I've heard of that! I'm-I'm-I'm...not that surprised if I think about it, actually.

Well, at least Arnold remains a role model for how not to be a gross human being---

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Why you take so much from me, Lord?!

Looking it up again, I realize I did make a mistake. Stallone wasn't charged but did have two allegations against him in 2016 and later 2017. However, both were dismissed and it seems that both were one of the few instances of this being a hoax. I apologize for the misinformation.

Stallone deserves on the list just for going, "its 2010... **** it, imma get all these old action stars and put them in a movie and blow **** up! And then imma do it again! and again!"

That is some pull right there. Dudes peak is ridiculously high with Rambo (the first one being a legitimately good movie on top of being action porn, and the other 3 were great action porn. And none of them are bad, which is someone Arnold can't say with Terminator).

He is also the only one still making movies that don't bomb. Newest Rambo about to 50 cal the R rated box office.

(Bullet to the Head is about is high quality as the rocks movies as well lol).

And this isn't even bringing up Rocky, because I don't really count that as "action man." Although #3 and #4 might actually qualify due to the absurdity of it. Did Steven Seagal end the cold war? HELL NO!!! STALLONE DID!

Kick that fat ass fake Seagal out of there. He can be the old man wondering the museum talking about **** know one knows what is going on. "you know back in my day, i worked with the great russian Putin himself you know! I was one wrist lock to being dictator of russia! I fought a bear! took him down with a toe twist before he knew what was coming!"

    If Arnold is Michael Jordon

then Stallone is Lebron (crazy peak and ridiculous longevity)

Then Bruce Willis is Derrick Rose (burst out of the gate with Die Hard and then.... ????)

The Rundown is far and away the best Rock movie. I love that ####.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God
