So what to do? Return to making peace speeches between humans and mutants or marches? Will this prevent Sentinels or a new genocide?
Perhaps begging will stop humans from killing mutant childrens with headshots? Or perhaps a new vaccine that takes away the mutants' powers is the solution?
I loved how pro poly this was. I hope they explore that more overtly. Good issue, really adds an interesting element to the mutant world philosophically. And now I want a nightcrawler religion book
The Avengers are Firefighters. We're the ones who fly into the blaze, whatever it is. Because we're the ones who
can, so we're the ones who have to.~Captain Marvel
You know it's a good issue when the thread's got 67 pages within 12 hours
Because this is progression and there was none before that. Not in the 50 years the franchise's been around. Not in the 9 previous lives. Periodt.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Lets talk about Human/Mutant relations in the last 20 yrs of stories.

New X-men could have changed things but X-editorial chickened out and put everything back to status quo.
Yup, we got our second drip in what appears to be a very long game Hickman is playing with the Phalanx. That whole scene was suspect as hell, and what's worse is that no-one in-universe outside of Moira would think twice about it. I also want to bring up a feeling I've been having about Krakoa itself. Kurt's dialogue here about the building makes me reconsider the possibility that Krakoa is still predatory, and all its done is adopt a honeypot scheme. But if that were true then Doug would let everyone know, right?
