I have very little faith in Azzarello's ability to write women, and now the Birds of Prey are pushed even more into just another bunch of Gotham vigilantes.

They had me until Harley Quinn. I mean, I get it. "Movie Synergy." But I'm so tired of the character at this point.

Harley does not belong with the Birds. She is not a hero. They should not want to work with her. And there's not even any Barbara.

I'm actually happy that they switched Barbara for Harley.
I don't find Babs to be very interesting or a strong character even. Harley at least has potential for this kind of story, because her insanity can be displayed in various ways.
