Media nowadays is more of an instant reward thing where everyone piles onto the next big thing, and then immediately moves onto the next thing once the hype is over.
Exactly what I was getting at

It needs to be in smaller chunks, in a more media savvy format

    Video clip style

Paper and hardcover quality, size & black/white interior art.

They have published a Fullmetal Alchemist prestige edition recently, which is on a size of normal comic book with hardcover, a better paper quality and color pages included, it about costs the same as a normal TPB for an American comic book. This is "collecter's edition" for a manga reader while for a comic book reader it's "business as usual".

    Thanks

I grew up reading black and white reprints

    That would bother me less

Some posts on here suggest the working conditions are not to be envied which does bother me

But I don't know enough to make a judgement on that

Big takeaway, the potential emerging comics market has seceded a lot of ground to manga and video games and it's very difficult to catch up.
Why on Earth is a creator's website blocked? The swear word filter broke the link!

Why does Wally look so small compared to Barry? He looks like a teen there.

I was thinking the same thing.

In my head, Wally is still built like a linebacker, the way artists drew him in the 90's.

But now he's drawn like a kid because DC views him as one. Secondary and subservient to Barry, and thus shorter, thinner, and all-around weaker looking.

Still a damn fine piece by Porter; the man's skill is beyond question.

They're about the same height. Notice the angle on the background and foot placement. When you put someone in front of another and tilt the lense, every degree takes off inches.
