In addition to her training on the Island, Donna might have accompanied Drusilla on her messenger errands to Amazons in Man's World, ..learning English and other customs, as she went. Prior to that, Diana and the Amazons slipped through a time portal and rescued her from the burning and looting of Troy, on Aphrodite's command - hence, the name. I don't think she needs a modern American family, like the Stacys to be be tied to.

Donna appears in Batman/Superman #4 as one of the Batman Who Laughs infected Secret Six. While I'm not super thrilled to see Donna as a pawn as the BWL, it is good to see her in full-on Amazon fighting mode and just cutting loose. Again, I'm not happy that she's a villain but, I'm so desperate for a Donna appearance that I'm glad to see her being used anywhere since Titans was canceled. Maybe we can even see her in the WW book soon???

The issue is why would Donna ever go to Diana? They don't have a relationship. They were never adopted sisters.
