Mark Waid Daredevil omnibus vol 1 - so-so
The 'collected editions' I have been perusing most recently are the Gladstone EC volumes. I also recommend the Spirit archives (Will Eisner) and the first Batman archives (from 1939-41).
After a bit of a break from reading a collected edition of any kind, I'm now reading Descender Volume 1: Tin Stars TPB. Liking it a lot so far.
Pull List: Daredevil, Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, No One, Time Before Time
“We never lose our demons. We only learn to live above them"
I'm slowly working my way through the complete Golden Age Dr. Fate Archives (again). I recall thinking initially that the stories taper off in quality once Fate goes from a sorcerer to a two-fisted superhero. We'll see if that opinion holds on a re-reading.
After finishing Descender Volume 1 (liked it enough to order the next 2 TPBs), I gave The Killing Joke another read and I've just started Nemo: Heart of Ice.
Pull List: Daredevil, Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, No One, Time Before Time
“We never lose our demons. We only learn to live above them"
I have been trying to pick up a couple TPB of somewhat random characters that I may not have bothered to collect in the past, just to see if I am missing out on anything.
Finished: Animal Man Vol. 1 "The Hunt" and Vol.2 "Animal Vs Man"
Just starting: Martian Manhunter "Epiphany"
I can appreciate the different takes on the characters that I have never seen before, along with a much different art style than I normally like in the Animal Man books.
I also have "Original Sin" HC that I am planning to read next.
Yes, I've been out of this for a few years, haha.
Finished Tales of the Batman: Gerry Conway Vol 3. Really enjoyed reading all 3 books.

Daredevil by Bendis vol.1-3
Gotham Central by Ed Brubaker vol.1-4
Swamp Thing by Scott Snyder
Fourth World by Jack Kirby
And to continue with Batman, I've read not a long time ago
Batman by Jim Aparo
Batman by Neal Adams
I really should get vol.2 & 3 and vol.2
Of the. Colan Batman.
They all had some impressive stories
And beautiful Colan art
Colan....... Wolfman..... Conway.....
Byrne ........ Miller....... Perez.....
Just seems like the working atmosphere
Was kinder back than where writers
And artists could move back and fourth
Between the two major companies
Just finished Descender book 1, really enjoyed it even tho I’m not a massive fan of painted art, looking forward to book 2
I've just finished reading Nemo: The Roses of Berlin and Nemo: River of Ghosts. I'm picking up Descender Volume 2 TPB next.
Pull List: Daredevil, Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, No One, Time Before Time
“We never lose our demons. We only learn to live above them"
I'm currently working on Morrison's Batman vol.2 omni. I really wanted to get into the Dark Metal (bought the road to Metal) but figured I would start at Morrison and read at least through RIP and Bruce Returns beforehand.
On the Marvel side, Hickman's HoX/PoX has me hooked, and I decided to start working through Hickman's F4/Avengers. I picked up almost all of his run on that crazy Amazon/Kindle/Comixology sale a while back but never got around to it...so working on Secret Warriors. I must say, the Kindle format of that book is pretty terrible with its formatting--I really wish they'd reprint the Omnibus Secret Warriors. With Marvel's recent solicitations showing many of the top Omnis getting reprints (Astonishing X, Remender's X-Force, Wolverine v.1 etc), I wouldn't be surprised if the Hickmania pushes a reprint of a number of his out-of-print and quite expensive omnis.
