    Cool

    spoilers:
Man, I am so glad that DC is not moving forward with Oracle. Hahaha, Castelluci had me worried for a bit given the previous issue of Batgirl and recent preview of Joker War with Cass and Steph as both Batgirl. But yeah I am very happy that Barbara is back as Batgirl and thriving. I must say though, Rodriguez's art was enjoyable for once and also, that other Batgirl who is dead is quite interesting.
    end of spoilers
Speaking of Batgirl, I want to see her in Titans too.

Just finished reading the latest issue of Nightwing and it has been confirmed that...

    spoilers:
So when Babs was disabled again in Batgirl #47 she then had her chip fixed and went to help Dick Grayson. So now we know for sure that the Batgirl issues took place before Nightwing which makes sense now and is awesome because Babs is helping the Batfamily as Batgirl in Joker War! One thing that is annoying is we still have no idea how Joker got away from Babs after she through a metal pole into his spine and we last see him bleeding out on the roof beside Babs.
    end of spoilers

Random question, but it's canon that Babs uses contacts, right?

I guess? I don't think it is really confirmed.

When I started reading comics, I assumed Barbara used glasses to protect her eyes, especially when she was Oracle.

However, Barbara seems to use glasses in earlier incarnations too.

If she had contact lenses she wouldn't need glasses...

I alternate I'm sure others do too
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

Ya, you usually still want a pair of glasses even if you wear contacts.

Has anyone noticed that we've only ever seen Oracle adapted 4 times? And that the other 3 Batgirls have only ever been adapted to Young Justice where combined they have about 2 minutes of screen time.

Oracle has only appeared in Birds of Prey played superbly by the beautiful Dina Meyer, Beware the Batman but she wasn't paralyzed there, The Killing Joke post-credits scene, and Young Justice s3 has her as Oracle. Young Justice by the way is the only adaptation to use all 4 Batgirls. Bette shows up in 3 episodes and they are all cameos and she only gets line in Homefront. She did appear in the comics in 4 issues and she has a one night stand with Dick. Steph first appears in s2 as a teen the Reach kidnaps. In season 3 she appears three time only have lines once. She also appears as a photo in the comics. Cass appears in s3 in 2 episodes with no lines. She does appear in the Birds of Prey movie but that doesn't count.

Maybe CW's Batwoman will use Babs at some point. When Felicity Smoak was given a codename in Arrow, she was dubbed Overwatch - and Oliver joked that he'd thought of Oracle, but that name was taken - implying that Babs was already active in the role. Could be that she was active when Batman was around but stopped when he disappeared.
