I wouldnt be so sure if Jean will even be in the first issue as its a Summer Brothers adventure. She may appear in a cameo appearance since she and Scott were married at the time. She definitely will be used in the Louise Simonson issue though

Yes it does! It is the same color pink as Jean and basically the same shape as her power off her brow/his eyes.

I think this is a variant cover for another issue, but Louise Simonson is writing a X-Factor era story so we're most likely getting some good Jean there.

I secretly been hoping Cates remembers Jean's most recent encounter with the symbiotes but if it ends up being Xavier or Emma I would not be surprised at all. The surprising thing would be a story involving Jean actually being followed up in a meaningful way.

I'm pretty sure it isn't Emma, this isnt how she talks and we only saw Jean on New York. Not sure if Xavier is a holo or if he was there too. I think the chances are it is Charles/Jean

Jean looks great. He really did a great job with the 90s costume, and its nice to see Jean utilizing other deigns. Ewing writing Jean could be great, even if its brief.
