Rocafort's Red Hood is good, but man, I'll never get over how silly the face mask looks. Completely ruins the design imo.
I also like Jason being a bit buffer, but that's OK.
That's the thing, I'm not entirely sure if it's a bad player or a clunky combat system
Like, this is not IGN playing. It's the devs, much like with that Nightwing/Red Hood demo a while back. Constant dodging when it doesn't make sense, staying in line awkwardly to get hit or avoid getting hit at the last second, enemies not really doing anything...
I still have hopes that the combat will actually be fun and, hopefully, engaging. But the marketing so far has been bad. Maybe it's a symptom of the actual game, but I can't believe the only villain-related stuff we've gotten was Freeze's demo in 2020! We know of a few other villains because of teases and, in Penguin's case, him showing up in a cutscene. But that's about it, all we've seen has been awkward petty crime footage.
Still hoping for the best. Again, I'd be satisfied with an average/slightly above average game considering how much I like the premise.

See, the combat looks a lot less clunky here.
All things considered I feel like this is a case of a smaller studio just trying their best but they don't have the experience or were given the resources to properly manage a game of this scale.
Kind of like what happened with Arkham Origins who were only given half the budget to make the game.
Skill Trees and how they work. Honestly the whole thing sounds really interesting and if implemented well, is going to lead to fun builds for all the characters.
I went and took screenshots of Jason's entire skill list

The Joker is dying and needs medical help...but where can the most wanted man in the United States get it? And to make matters worse, Jason Todd decides now to finally hunt and kill the Clown Prince of Crime?
So Rosenberg continues to have reigns on Jason for the foreseeable future in continuity, I don’t actually mind this since I like his characterization in task force Z.
