I just realized something very sad about Spider-Man's life in this book, and technically, maybe 616's Spider-Man too. All his life can be resumed with just one word: War.

1º) 1966: Peter tries to avoid going to Viethnam War, but his regular life is affected by it. And because of Iron Man, superheroes are seen as weapons.

2º) 1977: Because of Iron Man, Viethnam War is extended and Peter doesn't stop seeing it wherever he looks at.

3º) 1984: Spider-Man is kidnapped for the original Secret Wars, and when he returns home, the Cold War has escalated into a WW-III escenario.

4º) 1995: Peter is trapped into a personal war. On one side, he's fighting to protect his enterprise from Stark's big fat ego; and on the other side, it's his personal life, where his enemies don't stop getting in the middle.

5º) 2006: Peter trapped in the Superhero Civil War.

6º) 2019: Surely and adaptation of 2015's Secret Wars, fighting against Doom to free the world.

Don't you think it's sad such a life where you have known nothing but war through it?

Indeed. It's kind of reminiscent of some takes on Captain America and, if you go for that, how a lot of writers have depicted the Punisher.
The spider is always on the hunt.
