I have a feeling Rider fans will be very happy today.
I hope they don't pull something like what DC did with Wally West, in which the answer/return is just a big F-U to his fans. I would rather have Rich be MIA than suffer a grizzly death.

"In this issue, you Nova fans will finally get what you want. You get to find out what happened to poor little Richie! Oh, you thought he was alive...?
Well, I'm afraid I've got some bad news!!!"

I want to read up on this Richard Riker. What books would be the right ones to check out?
The Man Called Nova by Marv Wolfman, Annihilation by Keith Giffen, Annihilation Nova by Dna, and New Warriors volume one and onwards by Fabian Nisesa
Rich is going to have sacrificed himself so Quill could get back to combat Thanos.
Now he's truly dead.
The future of mankind is not 10 billion people fighting over a single planet, but rather 100 billion people spread among the stars.
There you have, Rider fans. HAPPY NOW? Oh, wait,it's Bendis... Damn, I'm sorry for you because the damage to the character can be big.
Honestly, I would prefer not knowing about his fate. Rider had something many other corporate superheroes wish: a complete character evolution and his story ended with him saving the galaxy.
with disney in charge now, i don't think rider has a chance. sorry, but that new nova is here for the duration.
