Issue was fine. I'm not liking the red queen stuff or her randomly calling herself kate now. It just feels dumb and I will still call her kity.

“The Five really did it. They brought them all back.” Huh? Who is Kate talking about?
Okay, good first issue. I find Duggan has a talent for making Kitty tough but likeable at the same time which is a welcome respite from how she has been portrayed over the last decade. Also, we get to see drunk Kitty which is always fun.
Why can't Kitty stay on Krakoa? Is it just too difficult for her to get there and leave? Also, if Krakoa has portals all over the world, why can't Wolverine just go and get his own suds?
One glaring thing that stood out to me though is in House of X we saw kitty sitting next to a krakoan plant but in this issue it came off like she has never been to Krakoa, had no idea exactly what the portal was etc. Like Xavier completely iced her out.
Don't let anyone else hold the candle that lights the way to your future because only you can sustain the flame.

Consider that the populating of Krakoa started to happen before Hox Pox and probably the school in Central Park was still active at the time. Being the headmistress, she might have been there during that time while other X-Men were already going to Krakoa.
Probably the scene in Central Park happened before Orchis and then she set to travel by herself while everyone had already started to settle in.
