T'Challa: The Black Panther Appreciation 2021

And the only other BP project is literally Rise of the Black Panther 2.0, once again written by someone who has never written a comic.

I really dont get how talent like RedJack didnt get to alteast write the new Orgin story.

But Ridley and this new guy will get a fair shot from me despite skepticism. I refuse to believe Ridley will let T'Challa be embarrassed again by Storm and the X-office

This should have been written by Thorne or a sesoned Marvel Black Panther writer but I hope its good. I will buy it to support T'Challa and enjoy Shuri not existing lol

So let’s say a Black Panther video game is green lit after this expansion. What villains could you guys see taking center stage. This is what I’d do if I were in charge.

1st game: Achebe (with Moses Magnum as hired muscle)

2nd game: Baron Macabre. This game would introduce T’Challas kotd powers so he can level the playing field as Macabre would be a full on Necromancer in this version.

3rd game: Killmonger

I love me some Achebe but Im not sure he is rrady to be the lead villain in the first game.

I would do it Arkym style and introduce the lesser known villains like him, Slay, the Phenomenal Princess Zanda, and Mbaku in side quests or lead up missions and have either Klaw or Killmonger be the lead of the first

Game 2 would be the Skrull invasion with Namor being hinted at for game 3. Killmonger could be the lead rogue until he is defeated and the invasion starts with the game culmination being the war

Game 3: would be secrect wars stuff with the Black order namor and Doom being the bad guys

That's a good question, but I'd say the Supremacists could be retooled as a white supremacist militia that gets (or is supplied) advanced weapons tech, intending on using those weapons to destroy Wakanda, as they perceive it to be the ultimate affront to their entire belief system and ideology. If the Supremacists are supplied, the suppliers could turn out to be Western power brokers, whether with specific US ties or not, intending to use them as plausibly deniable pawns to undermine and destabilize Wakanda so they can gain access to Wakandan vibranium.

That is an EXCELLENT use of the Supremacists! Never thought about the US gov using them as destabilization mercs.

What's new now is that Ewing is part of the X office and he's a Black Panther secret agent. When the time is right, he'll strike for us.

Not bad but honestly you should have those as the “main” bad guys, and then use all of BP’s lesser known Rogues as well, just like how the Arkham or Spider-Man games use their Rogues. It’s a good way of building up awareness of T’Challa’s Rogues.


Racism still is alas, as is predatory capitalism. Could easily retrofit them as corporate “heroes” who work for Roxxon or whatever and help the company exploit Africa by protecting its “investments”.

Yeah that what I was going for. Have the villains I listed as the main villains throughout and have other villains filling out the roles of bosses similar to what Spider-Man and the Arkham games did. Some of those being Zanda (with her BPQ powers), Madame Slay (with a revamped power set), M’Baku, and Sombre.

There’s probably an argument to be made that the only reason Hunter was installed/maintained by both T’Chaka and Y’Sen as secret police chief is because of his whiteness, since it makes it an eminently deniable asset, it’s impossible for his to successfully rally support for a coup, and even if he stays loyal to T’Challa/Shuri his previous position makes it impossible for him to be a power behind the throne

1980: Chris Claremont tells a Storm story revealing they met briefly as teens. The story specifically ends with them rejecting the idea of a relationship.
2001: Priest uses Storm in his run, re-iterating that they are NOT in a relationship.
2006: Hudlin does the wedding story. T'Challa & Ororo are an official couple for the first time... 40 years after BP's creation.
2012: After AvX, their marriage is annulled. A queen standing against her nation will cause that.
2016: Coates has T'Challa still carrying a torch for her because she's so perfect and divine and wonderful.
2020: Storm steals a Wakandan relic because she's in a hurry.

In brief: For 41 years (35 if I want to be generous) T'Challa did perfectly well without Storm.

Their relationship was only a net positive for the franchise for 6 out of the last 15 years.

"Always" is a remarkably short time.

Also, the Supremacists were based out of ficitional Azania correct? So they can still practice apartheid if you wanted to keep that story element. MU has monarchs, dictators, democracies and such, yo ucan easily keep apartheid and it won't feel" odd"
