Batman the blind cut is a whole lot of fun! I would recommend listening to it if you get a chance! First audio drama I have ever listened too.

Also im very hyped for the Batman Urban Legends issue I absolutely love Batman and Zatanna together.

I guess you could Zatanna is more their most consistently used magic character if she isn't their main one.

Well, like I said in a previous post, she was the main one for the JL and every team had their own magic users. Raven for the Titans and Zachary for the Teen Titans.

But isn't being deceptive and shady sort of Constantine's MO? Zatanna should definitely know that. In general, I'm not in favor of characters with similar backgrounds (in terms of superpowers) getting together. It's kinda boring to me. Maybe the Zatanna movie will make the pairing more palatable to folks on this thread. I was more into the cosmic corner of the DC Universe, so my understanding of the magical side is lacking. To ME, it always seemed that Zatanna was the go-to girl when it came to mystical things at DC.

It is but I rather he did that in his own title, in his own world and characters from his own supporting cast. No need to dim our faves just to elevate him.

I don't love shipping Constantine-Zatanna, but I don't exactly hate it either. I enjoy Constantine as a character.

I don't like Zee going to him for help. I'm biased, but I think it should be the other way around. That's probably why I enjoy Everyday Magic.

I used to not mind him but then JLD Vol 1 plus Books of Magic #4 really soured me on the character. I love Everyday Magic for the same reason. If he has to be around at all in her world that's how their relationship should be.

I'm down for a solid Bruce/Zee team-up .

Kind of wonder how their relationship might change though...for the better or for the worse?

I didn't know Constantine and Zatanna were "done", because I didn't know they "began". I think DC magic is indeed more horror-oriented than Marvel's. Pity the MCU is gonna beat the DCEU to the punch by making Strange 2 its first movie with "scary elements" in it. I would prefer that Zee be more light-hearted, but if her movie is gonna be "intense", I don't see that happening in the film.

The scan is from Books of Magic which is not fully in continuity. Pre-Nu 52 Zee was completely over Constantine and had no time or patience for him.

I agree. I was really hoping she's be switching to the future state outfit soon, but if they are planning that they sure are taking their time. Her Stage Magician look is iconic and I don't get why they decided to go with this plain clothes street wear look and why they seem to be sticking with it for now.

love that little details, I think Raven TTG and Zee DC SHG have great time in that crossover movie. Also it remind me that Naomi also have Zatanna poster on her wall
