Episode 17 "Trickster" Glad to finally see more of the night Nora Allen was murdered and the fight scenes were kind of epic. Interesting that when the Reverse Flash unmasked he wasn't Harrison Wells. I love that they used pictures of Mark Hamill from the '90s and I thought his performance was super creepy. I laughed at the Breaking Bad reference and the "I am your father" line. I don't think it made sense that Axel was able to sneak up on Barry and attach the bomb to him but it was still kind of fun. Plus Barry learns to vibrate through solid objects and Wells named dropped the speed-force. Great scene where Grant Gustin unmasks in front of John Wesley Shipp. I always like the scenes featuring the two generations of the Flash together and it was cool that they showed Henry around S.T.A.R. Labs. The transformation scene with Eobard Thawne and the original Dr. Wells looked pretty cool. I was surprised to see Joe and Barry reveal his identity to Eddie. Preview for the last six episodes looks great.

My thoughts on this episode:
Ohmygodohmygodphmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I frigging LOVE this show!!!! The finale is gonna be epic and I never heeled out in crossovers before! Not the avengers, not spidey in the MCU(though garfield in there wouldve helped me geek out), Flash/Arrow, etc. but seeing as how this show keeps impressing me every episode it's the first time I heeled out in an all put crossover
And my god does Grodd look good! I hope joe makes it out okay. If this would be the season to ale what will season 2 be like? Abd how will this freak with no eyes fit in?
oh my GOD! THAT WAS AN AMAZING EPISODE.So did Barry gain his powers and become the Flash in 2020 since that is when the Partical Accelerator get created or gain his powers some other way?
Ah yes the whole "we must not tell her anything in order to protect her" bit. Even though that actually makes her LESS safe. OK, so Iris is now officially the ONLY main cast member who doesn't know. This is getting REALLY annoying writers.
On the positive side, Mark Hamill was great and that Thawne/Wells reveal was really cool.
So I'm guessing Iris will figure out who Flash is on her own, as she clearly heard a familiar voice on that radio.
And Barry is terrible at masking his feelings, and Wells spidey sense is all kinds of tingling right now.
I wonder if we'll ever get to see the future before RF changed it.
What a great episode. And the reveal was crazy and Grant did bring out that no theory he seen was right. No one called this.
And The murder of Wells was ruthless.

Heh. What I'm loving about this show is how they disguise a big reveal with a fluff episode. As great as it was to see Hamill, I thought this episode was going to be relatively uneventful. And, then we get thee reveal of the season.
Maybe I am wrong here but it looks like Reverse Flash was not trying to kill young Barry but was trying to stop older Barry from saving his mother and thearby changing the timeline completly ala Flashpoint.
Wow Eobard Thawne (and I mean the actual Thawne) actually came off like the crazy psycho he is in the comics. What an amazing episode. Looks like next episode will finally have Barry and Thawne facing off against each other

Also Mark Hamill was just amazing. I was smiling ear to ear every time he was on screen. And that Star Wars reference? I was geeking out
Much like the University of Kentucky basketball program, the Flash is getting close to achieving a perfect season. There hasn’t been an episode I haven’t loved yet, and this one was especially great.
As most of you have pointed out, Hamill owned the Trickster role. (I won’t lie, I pretended the whole time that he was the Joker.) Great creepy theme music too!
Revealing Barry’s identity to Eddie was an interesting choice, and it’ll be interesting to see what the writers do with it.
Establishing that Harrison Wells was a real person who originally invented the particle accelerator independent of Thawne’s machinations is an effective way to avoid a potential time-paradox situations.
On the other hand, I have to admit that I’m sad to again see that the ‘Wells’ we know is really just evil. Early in the season, I was hoping that he’d be someone who genuinely cared for Barry/wanted him to be faster but was somehow at odds with him, but I think at this point Wells/Thawne has been outright evil from the beginning (regret over having to kill Cisco aside). I don’t mind having an unsympathetic villain, but Tom has done such a sympathetic job portraying him it’s going to be sad to lose that. It’s sad to think most—if not all—of those moments were lies.
Man, does that trailer have me hyped for the finale. Who thought network television could be this good?
Lol the Breaking Bad reference in a fictional universe
