    Iron Maiden:
So many interesting covers with great pairings
    It really is!
I know some are being contested as PD or not, but it really is a great assemblage our own League of Extraordinary Ladies & Gentlemen characters, to rival Moore's.
Imagine all of them forming an official Cover Contest team

    Robin Hood
    Octobriana
    Dracula
    Frankenstein
    Sherlock Holmes
    Zorro
    Tarzan
    Santa Claus
    Atlas, Samson & Hercules
    Jesus Christ Super Star
    Fu Manchu
    Thor (Norse Myth version)
    Caesar's Ghost LOL!
    D'artagnan
    Quasimodo
    Blackbeard
    Merlin
    Daredevil (Original)
    Peter Pan
    Wyatt Earp & Annie Oakley
    Juliet Capulet
    Headless Horseman
The Spider, The Black Terror, Miss Fury, Green Lama
    Mickey Mouse
    & Ebenezer Scrooge
    What a team!

    What a team!
That would be a tough group to beat. But who would lead it? I think Fu Manchu would try to assassinate the others or use some arcane venom based potion to put them under his threall. Bbut I think the power of goodness and JC, Thor and Merlin would beat him in the end

Nschornhorst for Bruce's Batmansplaing to Sherlock Holmes. "See, Sherlock, I know you have a reputation for being a master of disguise, but it's the mask that keeps criminals from knowing who you are!"

The word "Batmansplaining" needs to become a lot more popular.

Can't resist a good painted 1970s magazine cover.

I'm honestly surprised no one in the JLA uses that term. Particularly given how often Batsy tends to talk down to everyone.

Thanks! It was the first one that sprang to mind. It's one story I've always wanted to read, but I think I've only seen a panel or two.
