Characters you hate.

Cyclops and Captain America have the same issue.The fans and the writers (especially the writers) see them not as unique characters in their own right but as a stand in for every authority figure that ever did anything that made them angry. Superman has the same problem over at DC.

I dislike talking animals and cartoonish characters like Rocket Raccoon, not a fan of Deadpool cheesiness, quite annoyed by characters that somehow have to "be always right or sympathetic" (ms. marvel or wolverine style), totally turned off by the writer's pet characters ala Jane Foster.

When you read his older stuff, it's a bit better. Sadly DP is one of those characters that some writers flanderize & make into a Bugs Bunny cartoon. He's one of my favorites, but only when he's more Sad clown & gritty. A reason I haven't read him since Duggan & Bunn left. Young is on the list of stale DP writers with Bendis and Daniel Way. Along with RyanPool, who I think sucks.

Like many have stated, I don’t dislike characters but there are ones I find really dull and boring like Kitty and Jean.

Well he (and the other Avengers) come off as extremely hypocritical my the design of the universe. They only show up to harass and attack mutants because you can have them solving mutant problems. It's a bit of a disconnect.

Besides AvX since Cyclops was the one at fault. Risking the entire planet on a “maybe 50/50 plan” obvy Avengers will interfere because that’s what they do. Protect the planet.
