Have there been any theories regarding the opposite Moira:s on the House of X #2 cover?
Seems to me that she might symbolize an aspect of the character she's facing.
Magneto - concentration camp survivor?
Cyclops - callback to Apocalypse possession?
Emma - her mousy younger self?
Comes up with nothing for Professor X, Wolverine and Jean though.
Ok, so we can look at power dressing Moira, but only see the glasses and think "mousy".
Hello,
If you skip the Moiras:
- Magneto is facing Xavier;
- Logan is facing Scott;
- Jean is facing Emma.
And it makes sense in a way…
My theory is that these Moiras are Danger with the appareance of Moira…
(Moira is dead, not a small detail in a normal world…)
Variant Cover
Not an infinity warp. But possible Magik & Colossus merged -like the St. Croix siblings can do to form X-Plate.

Man, I love Dustin Weaver's art. What a nice cover.
I don't love that cover, but I think its just not fitting the tilt towards beauty and bizarre that Larazz and Silva have been on. But to say something Weaver is doing doesn't stack as well to the rest is just a testament to how great this is building up to be and how high both my expectations and excitement are getting.
And I thought things couldn't be worse for Illyana than Rosenberg's writing.
It was bad enough that so many writers but her in the same team as Piotr, where 75% of her characterization would be "muh brother! muh brother!". I sure hope they didn't get to the next level and fused them.
Bringing back the old, killing the young: that's the Marvel way
sorry for being a party pooper but I have this strong feeling:
Moira was an omega level mutant all along, that is why she gave birth to Proteus, she never died, Xavier always knew and remained in contact with her
