If Lord Clearmont was doing the Movies it would be the best 41/2 hours of my life.
Storm would have been a goddess.
Cyclops would have been the baddest white boi in the game.
Hellfire Club would have been the running villain while Magneto would have been the Erick killmonnger of the film's.
DP Saga would have been epic and in space or at least the moon.

More like a bit too much for studio executives to chew or fully understand. Imagine Claremont trying to explain the concept of Legion or how and why he is so intrigued by the soap opera writing that takes precedent over CGI garbage.

That's on Fox. Marvel has proven to far more consistent and faithful to their material than Fox was. You're judging the MCU's X-men before they've spent one second ons screen. The only thing confirmed from the franchise we have to go on is space sharks. You're as in the dark about what they're doing as we are, and it'll be years before something big happens.

Claremont in in his 70s and obsolete and irrelevant. He’s been fired by Marvel more than I’ve. If Claremont were in charge of the movies they’d commercially fail because his writing at its peak was in a very different society, and simply not applicable to the 21st century.

Plus this isn’t the comics. No one lived forever. This includes Claremont and his aging fan base.
