There is Hera from the hecrucles series she was the main villain for most of the series. Hela was the main villain of the avengers prime mini series and one of the main villains in the guardians of the galaxy 2019 series.

Veranke is more "evil queen" or "evil empress."

Queen Veranke had a lot going for her and could’ve been a pretty engaging character (her premise was interesting and probably her first flashback appearance)...I think Bendis failed on the execution.

Yeah she was killed too soon at the end of secret wars.

I agree, I wish we at least had a mini that explored her character a bit more.

I think Marvel in general does not utilize the cosmic queens to their full potential.

I would love a 3 issue mini about a Brood queen trying to figure out how to beat the X-Men especially with the Brood development in X-Men

It would be nice to see Viper given more spotlight, or Superia, or Enchantress (who needs to stop flirting with the idea of reformation).

But there was more depth to Amora than one might assume."

Amora's a charactrer who is a good antagonist since she has power on a level even most Norse gods can't match, and.... does her own thing and doesn't care if you are in the way... as long as you move.

It doesn't mean she's genuinely evil though.

I don't think you have to be genuinely evil to be a good villain. Most of the best villains aren't fully evil.

The only one that seems to be hanging in there at least is Morgan Le Fey. She was recently in Excalibur but last I remember she was being experimented on by Apocalypse
