Default Favorite writer of the DoX era? Which have exceeded expectations? Disappointed?

In a tactful and constructive write up. Which writers have exceeded expectations? Which have disappointed? What feedback would you give? The editors seem to let them do what they want; which is good for creative writing process. But some writers need some constructive feedback. What says you.

Percy has been way better than expected. And he is great at juggling a team. Giving spotlight to each character. Characters that haven't gotten spotlight is ok because we know he is building something to their story. He has been the most consistent writer of this new era. He made Black Tom Cassidy intersting to me. And I hope he starts to give Sage some focus.

Benjamin Percy, i read his Teen Titans and found it to be ok at best. His X-Force has been pretty good thought.

Tini Howard has dissapointed me though. I heard good things about her and the premise of the book sounder cool. But her Excalibur has been mediocre.

Hickman. Percy is not there yet and looking at Wolverine #2 preview I don't think he ever will be.

I woud have said Percy until this week's X-Force, which I strongly disliked.

    Hickman is Hickman I guess.

From a very poor premise, Duggan at least has me interested in Marauders

Percy has been a revelation, I was pretty meh about X-Force when it was announced but he is doing a fantastic job. Biggest disappointment I guess would be Hickman. His grand plotting is great but the character interactions and dialogue has been awful for the most part.

Hickman from issues 4-8 has been awesome.

And his New Mutants was great.

I only like BE Hills last issue.

Tini Howard needs to work on pacing and dialogue. She also needs to juggle the team better.

    Duggan is doing well.

Brisson needs a better artist. And arcs that are more important to the overall Krakoan era.

Hickman is my default winner since he's the main one, and issues 4-8 and his issues of NM were great. X-Men 1-3 were a bit of a letdown coming off of HOX/POX, but they were hardly has bad as people make them out to be.

Of the others I've sampled from the first arcs, Percy and Dugan would be the best. Howard is ok too.

I have a three way tie with Hickman/Duggan/Percy each book rotates for me with me enjoying all but one usually be more entertaining depending on the issue. I was in stiches over Hickman Golden Girl issue.

Percy has 9 X-Force issues and 1 Wolverine and half of the Logan and 8 of those X-Force have been good. Good stuff.

Hickman had some duds with X-Men 2 and 3 and part of New Mutants.

Brisson's New Mutants issues were OK but that power cancelling bazooka was booty.

    Duggan's passable.

Howard's Excalibur is hit or miss.

Fallen Angels was bad which was weird since Hill is usually solid.

Gotta go with Percy. What he is doing with X-Force and now Wolverine has exceptional. He's pretty much the only one I can say that has not had a bad or just meh issue.

I'm VERY happy with everyone but I gotta go with Hickman.

I gave my vote to Percy. He's been very consistent, and really understands his cast.

While I've really enjoyed Hickman's work, I wouldn't say it surprised me, as I really enjoyed HoX/PoX.

Hickman has had the highest highs, along with a couple of mediocre issues.
    Percy has been consistently good.
Duggan is using my favourite character, but somehow it's only my fourth favourite title, I'm not sure why I'm not feeling it. Maybe because of how silly the premise is?
Brisson, I haven't disliked what he's written for X-Men before DOX, but I know a lot of people have. He hasn't written enough yet on New Mutants to really judge, but I got faith in him.

The bottom two aren't for me. I don't want to be negative, so all I'll say is, I'm stoked that I enjoy 4 ongoing X titles!!! That's huge. Can't remember the last time this was the case.

    Howard
    Hill
