Hey guys! What are your opinions on Hickman's Ororo? How you feeling the way he writes the character's voice?

I’m a fan. He channels the over-the-top quality that most contemporary writers downplay. Her high priestess/hype woman scene is one of my favorite Storm moments ever. I was simultaneously unsettled and overjoyed as I read. That’s how it’s done!

I'm so happy they didn't come to blows. It would've ruined Hadari Yao for me. Glad we dodged that bullet. I'm so proud of Storm for going and having a conversation with Nakia. She tried to have a conversation with the other Nskia as well. It doesn't seem out of character for her. Its totally within her character to embrace another black woman's standoffishness with a warm air of approachability. She clearly laughed off Monet and her "no touching" the same way she embraced Nakia and framed their conversation in the terms she requested. I so loved this issue.

I'm glad she handled it the way she did as well and I can really really appreciate the artist for capturing the emotion of the two during the conversation. It gave the conversation life.

I love seeing personal emotional moments with Ororo and when the artist can capture that it's amazing.

I refuse to believe anything else. His profile is only getting higher, and Storm has remained a fixture of his BP run despite T’Challa being an amnesiac on the other side of the universe. Then, there’s Ms. Bartel whose star is also only getting brighter and her schedule busier, and she still finds time to draw the goddess.

It’ll happen. I refuse to believe otherwise!
