No problem. Yeah I backed out too but picked it up when I saw it in person. It's a fun read and more exciting than the photos I posted. I didn't want to spoil anything. I really do recommend it if you enjoy horror books.

will probably go much slower from now on, my buy-list has shrunk down considerably.
Rork is amazing although I'd suggest reading Rork #0 last on your first read-through. That one was published years after the other stories and it helps if you have read the other stories first (even though it is completely standalone).

Props for Gotham Central, one of the best comics I have. Shame TV series Gotham is one of the worst I've seen. I know it's not based on comics but does similar thing: shows Gotham without Batman, in this case in worst way possible.

Enjoy Rork and Metabarons, krylox. Some amazing stuff.

SmilingPirate: what is it about you Russian guys and your massive hauls. Don't you like your mailmen?

Martin: That Blueberry edition looks kinda big. What are the dimensions?

New books I got this week:

    - "The Arab of the Future" is this year's winner of "Best album" at Angouleme. There's going to be an English edition later this year. Will review the book next month when I have a bit more time.

    - Loving "Stray Bullets". I was hooked already halfway through the first issue. If you like Bru's noir books and Sin City, I'd advise you to get it. Can't believe it never occurred to me to read this back in the 90s.

    - "Man of Steel": Screw you, DC! Not gonna wait any longer for an Omnibus ("Take my money now, instead of later!"; yeah, that'll show 'em!). Plus I've read so much Euro books recently that I just need some good old-fashioned superhero comics now.

the david b. also looks interesting!

you should really check out sequana by leo henry and stephane perger, by the way. just released by splitter and could be something you might really enjoy. will have a lengthy write-up coming up on comic-gate.de soon, will let you know.
