Same. But for Coates sake, hopefully he can take Storm with him on his way out and finally write that solo book for her that he desperately wanted too this whole time. Lmao.

    Saying "good job Coates".

It's not like I would like Coates writing issue 200 anyway.
I know but it just seems ODD to jump before that with 3 issues to go.

Dislike of Coates or not-that is still a history making issue. Why give that up to another writer?

I how it's the end of an era.. an era of deconstruction. Just reading that solicit is annoying ad hell because Coates hasn't done anything for T'Challa bin the last 4 years and yet has done more for Storm in a little over a year.. frak this dude. I hope Redjack gets the gig so bad

I don't think anyone currently writing at Marvel is as enthusiastic about the relationship as Coates is, as far as I know, so it might happen.

maybe for issue 200 they could do something like they did with the last BP annual and bring back past writers. I just did NOT want Coates to solo write issue 200.

because another writer (such as Redjack) would actually make it impactful and showing T'Challa in full Glory instead of Coates who would probably make it a Storm centric ass pat.

I know I know but if it was ME-I would want that honor and if they wanted other writers-well do the same thing WW, Flash and others got-oversized issues.

But I would want my name linked to that some how.

The ONLY thing he can claim is a boost in trade sales. And now that he is leaving I expect another boost until whoever takes over has a trade out.

Thank Bast! I’m hoping Redjack or Narcisse get the job to finally write a competent, effective Black Panther. Saladin would be great too.

I definitely see myself checking out the first couple issues of whoever pens after Coates. I don’t even need a recap or any references to his run either im fine with starting before anything he wrote.

I wonder how much he can even claim that though. BP was blowing up as it was as he was just coming off the biggest event I. The last several years as well as a spotlight stealing showcase in CW. And really it really wasn't he writing capability that would of added to trades. It would of been his outside game among it being the 50 year anniversary for BP and there being as isht ton of variants among a bunch of other stuff. It was a lightning in a bottle situation and Coates has royally frakked it up. He doesn't deserve to have any contribution to issue 200. He has more then enough damage in setting T'Challa and Wakanda back several years
