Default Doomsday Clock next issue is due out . . .

Since we had this in that other thread,

I am trying to be pleasant and respectful about this. Please try to respect the intent of this thread. Thank you.
Here's a thread to post JUST the latest dates for when the next issue is due out.

We had Issue #9 finally come out on March 6th.

As for Issue #10, it was solicited for March 27th, then was moved to April 3rd. After that,

Well, I did a spreadsheet of the releases.

    Doomsday Clock 1 November 22
    Doomsday Clock 2 December 27 1 month
    Doomsday Clock 3 January 24 1 month
    Doomsday Clock 4 March 28 2 months
    Doomsday Clock 5 May 30 2 months
    Doomsday Clock 6 July 25 2 months
    Doomsday Clock 7 September 26 2 months
    Doomsday Clock 8 December 5 3 months
    Doomsday Clock 9 March 6 3 months
    Doomsday Clock 10 April 10 1 month
    Doomsday Clock 11 May 22 1 month
    Doomsday Clock 12 ? ?

I find it completely hilarious that DC thinks they're going to get the next issue out in 1 month, or even 1 month and 1 week.

I fully expect a minimum of 3 months between each of the next issues:

    10: June
    11: September
    12: December

Honestly someone at DC needs to take the fall for these delays and it cannot be Geoff Johns again.

I really don’t care while quality is still high.
It’s the best book published by DC at the moment and it’s worth the wait.

Whether it's good or not, it's making statements about the future of the DC universe which are causing anxiety and frustration that do not need to be happening.

Doesn't bother me. I'll read the issues when they come out and I'll read them again when the collected edition comes out.

To be fair, DClock 8 took two months and one week. And that was all Vladimir Putin.

Very fair. And if we actually get #10 before 3 months pass, I'll adjust my prediction.

But right now: Doomsday Clock #12, December 2019.

It wouldn't make any sense to change the ship date on issue #11 until after issue #10 actually ships (just like issue #10's date didn't start to change until they were actually ready to have issue #9 in stores).

It would make sense in terms of managing fan expectations.

Not that DC is at all good at that.

It would "make sense" to bump the dates for two issues out week after week?

Since we don't know why these issues are getting delayed in the first place, there's no guarantee that the following issue will have as long a delay as the upcoming one. And, it may not matter as much to Diamond or other comic book distributors to have the dates constantly delayed until DC knows when the previous issue will finally be released.

I’m not so sure it will affect so much the Dc universe.
Rebirth effect has been severely reduced, probably only JSA and Legion will emerge from it.
And this is probably one of the reason for the huge delay, anyway time will tell

I really don't understand, even if you don't want to push back ALL of the issues, just push the next one out to May, so we aren't constantly doing these updates.

You didn't happen to read the original post, did you?

By the way, the DC website also lists that date now.
