Nicely done. Hadn't thought of custom dust jackets instead of graphic covers.....more to consider lol.

So I've decided what my first custom bind will be. I've recently ordered Marvel's first 3 Miracleman hardcovers and plan to break them down, and if the print layout allows for it, reorganize the 16 main chapters and 7 bonus short stories into a correct reading order (research on that continues lol), with all the 'behind the scenes' material and art in the back of the book. Can't wait for them to arrive so I can get started.

The next would be to take my 4 Brian Azzarello "Hellblazer" trades (issues #146-#174) and have those bound as "Hellblazer: Americana".

Moore's "Saga of The Swamp Thing" trades are also begging to be bound.....

I don't like the paper those Moore Swamp Thing trades used.
For me personally, that is one run which is best served on a absolute plate.

I know what you mean......my original trades are that light duty newsprint type paper......I assume the current trades are the same. This is more of a pet project as I've already pre-ordered Absolute Swamp Thing Vol.1

I added a sketch from Graham Nolan at the North Texas Comic Book Show.

    NICE!

In my Grant Morrison Batman set of binds, I have been able to add David Finch to one volume (he did cover art on a couple issues)...he signed it and drew a quick Bat-logo. Also added Jonathan Glapion to a couple of the volumes as he inked. I'm only asking guys to sign volumes that feature their work rather than all volumes. Finch thought it was pretty amazing...he had a lot of questions about binding.

Coming up I'll have Mahnke sign a volume as I bound Final Crisis in with the RIP book of my set...Mahnke did art in a couple Final Crisis issues.

So I'm hoping to get some advice. I want to make a "This is your life" bind, for in-continuity Superman.
Pretty much his key story elements post-crisis, up to Superman Reborn (minus D&R, as I'm getting the omni).

The mapping would look like this:

Secret Origin - (it's the current canon origin)
Kryptonite - (Superman deals with Green Kryptonite for the 1st time)
For the Man Who Has Everything - (a key Mongul & trinity story)
*Some late 80's Darkseid could go here, if it's still canon
The Supergirl Saga - (Superman executes 3 Kryptonian criminals in an alternate Earth)
Exile - (he Exiles himself due to grief and vows to never kill again / also faces Eradicator & Mongul)
Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite - (the first time he faces Red Kryptonite & proposes to Lois)
Action Comics #662 - (Clark reveals his identity as Superman to Lois)
Superman. Vol 2 #100 & #118 - (His secret identity is revealed to Conduit & Lois accepts his proposal)
The Wedding Album - (Lois and Clark Marry)
President Luthor - (essential Lex villainy)
What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & The American Way - (Action Comics #775, highly praised issue)
Last Son of Krypton - (Dealing with Zod, his son & the "real" Brainiac)
Convergence Superman #1-2 - (reintroducing pre-52 Superman to main DC Earth. Birth of Jonathan Kent)
Lois & Clark - (the story of returning pre-52 Superman, Lois and Jonathan)
Final Days of Superman - (the ending to New 52 Superman)
Superman Reborn - (mostly retcons New 52 Superman and establishing a post-Rebirth Superman)

I'm going for chronological order, more than release date. I feel like Kandor and certain characters are missing.
I'd really appreciate any input of important events to Superman I should include or character appearances.

    Cheers.
I like it...ambitious project...I'll put a little thought into it and try to follow up...should be fun. I have thought about doing other binds like this...I have seen some done in the past that are very cool.

you should use All Star superman somewhere in there....arguably the best superman arc, though not exactly in continuity...or is it....
