Looks interesting at least. The writer seems to have forgotten that Magik is a sorceress though.
This looks so freaking good.
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
So... Rahne is just calmly chilling with Guido despite the fact that he murdered her son?
Looking forward to this miniseries.
Hurricane Elena being investigated by Illyana?
Gods, I will always hate Wolfsbane. I'd love to replace the rest of the team with real/other New Mutants but I'm here for Illyana.
Illyana sends a cute, young, and defenseless thing to Limbo then instantly brings it back older and visibly traumatized but able to fend for itself? A bit too on the nose?
Haven't Magik's Magikal abilities always been limited on Earth? Maybe she sent the kitten to Limbo, cast an aging spell on it there, then brought it back. Or she had to actively/magically keep the kitten alive for subjective months while it was in Limbo.

Next to Illyana, I'm excited to see more of Rahne, and see how Rosenberg deals with the elephant in the room between her and Strong Guy. I believe on Twitter he said that it would be addressed.
Good. Murdering your team mate's child is one of those big topics.

It always varied depending on story needs, but after training with Dr. Strange she doesn't have trouble casting spells on earth anymore.
In terms of what happened to the cat the characters explain it as 'time works differently in Limbo, and Magik controls Limbo.' This would imply a greater control over time in Limbo than has been previously shown.
I never saw much of exactly what Illyana was capable of post-Strange's tutelage apart from casting spells stated as coming from the Book of the Vishanti. It looks like Strange could use her help now what with him seemingly losing his powers every other issue.

I prefer Magik doing something disturbing to having her be just a cute girl hero with an oversized final fantasy sword
