Default If Charles does have TK (re:Inferno4),why'd he never levitate himself before?

If he's ALPHA-level enough that he could do this to OG NIMROD, how come he relied on that manual wheelchair all those decades?!

Because continuity and consistent characterization doesn't matter anymore.

I think that was just a nice Easter Egg of his untapped potential. He was able to use it due to being angry and desperate to find Moira, which shows how much he cares for her or at least what she stands for to Krakoa. And they don't have to worry about exploring it now or ever again since he died and is resurrected back to a point before his fight with Nimrod.

It's not really tk. It's a ridiculously strong mental-blast that can affect the physical world. He's done it before.

He also used TK to levitate the flash drive into Raven's hand during House of X. It's been stated that when he rebuilt his body from the Astonishing X-Men run (using Fantomex as the template), he was able to unlock some of the latent TK he had. Otherwise Cassandra Nova , who is essentially his twin, would not have that powerset if the potential didn't exist already. And as shown above, he's been able to affect things physically before.

Please show me where this is inconsistent with other issues, given the X-Men #98 panel above.

It was TP but, its pretty evident that almost ALL telepaths have been shown to have some degree have tk so it also wouldn’t surprise me that some may think its him using tk

I don't think it was TK in the way we understand TK to be.

But I think Mags and Xavier were operating under anime love rules and were just expressing their love through power displays.

I don’t get why everyone is so perturbed by this. I thought it was a psy-blast that caused the Nimrod to blitz TF out. Telepaths have been shown to be able to blast AIs on many occasions.

They have, but people just love their "latent TK" debates so here we are.

At closer inspection, it looks like Nimrod has a human brain, in fact wasn't this Nimrod expressly stated to be the repurposed form of Dr. Gregory's fallen husband?

It's probably why Hickman went that route, so Nimrod could technically still be affected by a strong enough telepathic blast. The artist also only has the attack affecting Nimrod's head and neck area signifying an explosion imo!

Seemed like a telepathic blast similar to Bets' psycho blast!

    I agree.

It doesn't really look like telekinesis. It's not a force pushing against Nimrod. It's more like an energy blast, one composed of mental energy. Seems like it is consistent with the past.

Because he has been reborn several times and those who are reborn get power boosts.

Maybe Xavier mentally commanded Nimrod to disassemble itself.
