Zatanna Zatara Mistress of Magic Appreciation Thread 2022

Definitely better, she become more active player that pushing the main plot. Some good skills display and playing important role in some scenes. Zee and Kaldur kinda underwhelming in the final battle especially with their speciality but I guess it's just your usual problem on giving focus for everyone in a team show.

Personally would like to see the show delve more on her role as leader that guilts ridden and torn apart between saving the world and with her personal goal, especially aftermath effect of what happened in arc. With balance as theme, She need to be more aggressive and pushing more her offensive spells.

I'd like to see her being a stage magician and finally having a life outside her protege's and her dad.

I was honestly expecting the Kryptonians' weakness to magic to be more relevant, but I guess the fact that the magic still effected them...

Ahh You one step ahead from me.
It's pleasant to see their friendship is reaffirmed and hopefully getting stronger onward.

Also lot of good talks about Zatanna as honorary Batfam members. For me it's such a great strategical gain to be supported from DC biggest fanbase. Hope more support and good talks for Zee and her contents.

Also, highlights the problem with the suit. Its too bland. The top and jacket are too light. Make them too dark and it's basically a Black Canary costume.

My problem with this design is, kind of like with the JLD look, it's too "normal" and not really flashy or memorable. It makes her look like she's in her civvies and not a proper showwoman Superhero, and it feels like she's less and less of that lately.
