I'm going to guess that Scott tries to pick up the pieces of what's left of the X-Men as best he can and tries to figure out if he and Emma can work, I was hoping that they wouldn't have Scott as the X-men's great savior, he screwed everything up the last time that happened...

They pretty much spoiled he'll try to rebuild the X-Men; he hasn't shown any romantic interest for Emma in six years; he was never hyped as the savior, but as the guy who had great merit unifying mutantkind in a time of crisis and leading them through it. Also, he might have screwed stuff up if writers cared about continuity, but things went so smooth that most of the bad stuff that happened to mutants was either because of Red Skull using Chuck's brain, Namor raiding Wakanda in AvX, etc, etc. He'll work along with Logan to try to make everything alright and there's no signs that he'll achieve any of it.

If you wanna slam a character or feel bothered bc he might get between Jean and Logan's epic romance, at least come up with some established base for what you're saying. Just some friendly advice

Also, speaking only for myself, while I think Scott is the best leader the X-Men have had, I consider saying he’s the savior more of a teasing joke - none of his victories were ever accomplished by himself alone, he always had his team’s support behind him.

Cyclops and Wolverine will be center focus for what seems to be one arc; there's no evidence that the leading ladies won't continue leading afterwards, even if Cyclops is given a leading role somewhere.

If they had started the Uncanny relaunch with a "Return of Cyclops" story-line I would have definitely been on board...even paying the inflated price.
Salvador's art looks really improved over the last couple of years...I do like and appreciate that it's different from his XXM work. I like when artists show growth and progression in their styles from when they started.
