Can I ask how you are enjoying Blade of the Immortal? I see that it, Vagabond, Lone Wolf and Cub & Berserk seem like the popular adult action manga.

Some of the Lone Wolf and Cub is oop so I don't need to worry about it. Berserk and Vagabond seem like no brainers. So is it worth picking up the series?
I haven't started to read it yet. Just building a back log.

Bought volumes 7+8 of Spider-Man/Deadpool and coincidentally volumes 7+8 of Blue Exorcist as well. Originally only wanted to get the latter, but I'm just a sucker for Spideypool.

Bought Sandman omnibus vols. 1 & 2; Thor Heroes Reborn Omnibus vols. 1 & 2; Thor by Simonson Omnibus and Fantastic Four by Hickman Omnibus vols. 1 & 2 (this one hurt my wallet).

I've read the first paperback of Sandman a few times over the years and it never grabbed me. Now that I bought the omnibi I will make my way through the series.

The first book is a bit different in tone than the others, promise you it only gets better!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to diving in.

Would you suggest vol. 3 of the omnibus, which collects the series outside of the main book?

Just finished the first omnibus yesterday (REALLY liked it and now everybody tells me the second one is even better) and already 300 pages into the second one. I actually enjoyed the first part although the connections with the normal DC universe did feel shoehorned in. But as stated by the others, it definitely gets better. There are some issues that are not as strong as the rest but I think that on average, Gaiman's writing is high quality. The art varies and is not always of the same quality but at the moment, I'm reading a story arc penciled by Jill Thompson, whose art I like.

I'm glad that I'm finally reading this - oh and I have the third omnibus lined up as well

I would love to see more pictures of new books here. Lately it's quiet here.
