Surprised(Or not so surprised) that the 40-50 group is almost the same as the 10-20. Kinda supports what a lot of people think about forums dying out among the 20 or less crowd.

    38. Started reading in 1991 with X-Factor vol. 1 #67. Bought it off a spinner rack at a convenience store in my hometown back when the newsstand market was still a thing.

    Now, get off my lawn.

You're 20 years younger than what I thought you were.

35, and my first comic book was:

But I was into the X-Men before that via the '90s cartoon and this (which got me into the cartoon):

My favorite character was Gambit for the longest time until the aforementioned comic book, when it changed to Iceman.

This is almost exactly my own trajectory. Only that I have not really come back since then --I just use to sample here and there (Ultimate, X-Statix, XFI, Wells' TNM...).

Granted, I never stopped reading comics. I've been simply reading other comics.

I was dreading coming into this thread to see the results. Lets just say I was expecting a very low number in my age group, I'm talking like 4 or less, and was surprised to see alot more than I thought.
