    Rom
    Box (Roger Bochs)
    Deathlok
    Darth Vader
    Vindicator

I realize some of the above aren't exclusively Marvel properties.

Edit: Added Vindicator. Thanks to Kilderkin for the reminder.

If Vader were included in the poll I'd change my vote. NO ONE beats the Dark Lord of the Sith in terms of sheer cyborg villain epicness.

Yet it's pretty much conceded that Doom was one of George Lucas's inspirations for Darth Vader. At least Mark Hamill seems to think so. Lucas has never really conceded that but he did smile at Hamill when he brought it up when going over it with him.

Box (Madison Jeffries) - The original Box suit used by Roger Bochs was pretty clunky and ugly, but the suit Madison used just had such a great visual.

In my mind, Vader is more "cyborg" than "power armored." He has prosthetics and a life-support system, but I don't considered him armored and what armor he might have is for protection rather than augmentation. ROM is also a cyborg, but his armor clearly augments his attributes and provides him weaponry. But I'm sure a bunch of characters are debatable.

I'd say There are various versions of the Titanium Man and Red Dynamo that deserve mention as well in this thread. I always liked the Guardsman armors, but nobody really did anything with it other than use it for security guards.

    The later design is fantastic

Wasn't there a character called windshear in the flight that used armour?

Windshear wore armor but that was more to better control his mutant powers than as an actual battle suit. He lost his powers during the M-Day event.

Yes, I recall reading this somewhere, too. Imagine James Earl Jones speaking with an Eastern European dialect.

Good call. Definitely should have added Vindicator to my list.
