Default CBR ranks the Best 90s WB Dramas

If you watched the WB in the 90s, you'll enjoy this list of best dramas (although you might not agree with the rankings - I sure don't).

To be honest, I don't even remember a few of these.

I think Angel got a bit lowballed. Other than that, it's an okay list. I would have put Buffy as #1... but I see why Gilmore Girls got the top spot.

That is a really, really white list.
I still miss Renee Montoya. Oh, and I'm a dude.

I remember watching some of this shows and loving it. WB was so much better than the CW.

The WB promo video from 1999:

I used to watch Buffy, Angel, Roswell, Charmed, and Smallville. I watched some seasons of Dawson's Creek and Popular, too, but they went off pretty quickly, imo.

Product of the times or modern cultural bias.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

Wow, I thought I was like one of the 5 fans of Birds of Prey out there! #6, even though it was panned by critics and fans!

Some of those first come out in the 2000s. Smallville started in fall 2001. Birds of Prey was 2002. Supernatural was 2005!

I'd have put Everwood on top, but that's more my personal preference, and the ones above have more cultural impact. For the most part I can't really disagree with this list.

WB was more "traditional" and UPN was more "urban" (for lack of better terms). It wasn't until they merged into The CW that the lineup became more diverse, and even that took some time after.

Angel should be ranked Higher. In the top 5. The series was a great spin off birthing from Buffy despite the idiocy of season 4.

It’s sad I actually remember (and was into) Tarzan.

But yeah marshall88 makes a good point re: BoP/Smallville. That list is kinda oddly stacked.

Yeah, I liked Birds of Prey and all... but I'm surprised it ranked as high as it did.

It didn't seem as popular as some of the others, and didn't (from my perception at least) have the same cultural impact . Not trying to diss the show... but to be above Smallville or Angel is sort of weird. Maybe it's a girl power thing because of the female cast.

    Yeah, really pathetic list.
