Her chest was killing her in the spot where the seatbelt was violently pressed against her. The back of her head was killing her after slamming into the headrest.

When she came to, she let out a string of curses, some in Spanish, others in German. "Should have run him over," she sighed as she pulled out her two Bowie knives.
The figure was close enough now that they could recognize him, although it might have been difficult as his hair was no longer spiked and dyed.

"Just four?" George Line muttered a nervous panic in his tone, "It's okay, kay, kay... Flors will understand as long as they're all dead..."

But oh, what a slog it was to go to market. Was it the sheer number of people in the building? It couldn't be, there were far more at the Joestar manor not two nights ago, though this was rather out of the way. Perchance did something die in the vents?

She picked up a box of dried fruit, and sweat left a mottled handprint on the box. "Oh..."

Suzie moved toward a sandwich shop brazier. Despite the smell of the panini press, the heat radiating off was anything but dry. Quite surprising, given the sheer size of the things.

    "Two Croque Monsieurs, please."

As she waited for the order to bake, she cast her eyes around the rest of the Otto, the soothing twang of the bluegrass carrying through the shop.

...Miguel had the right idea. Bloody hell, she thought, that'll be the next stop.

But for the capelet wrapped around her shoulders, she counted her blessings that the effluvial stickiness only rolled down in droplets down her face for the moment.
Suzie would find the cook, with teeth grit, trying to tear his spatula from his hand, only to realize in horror that his other hand was now firmly stuck to the utensil. It was perhaps then she might have registered the box of dried fruit was quickly becoming more attached to her.

    "OH RIGHT HE'S DEAD, WHOOPS."
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

    "!!...sir, are you alright...?"

With a stammer and a start start, Suzie dropped the shopping basket she was carrying, only to find the single item she'd lifted from the shelf was stuck to her hand.

    "What?"

Instinctively she grabbed and pulled with her other hand, hoping to pluck the sticky paper card off by loosing her nylon netting glove.

[Genesis] in hopes of freeing her from the sticky ground. As she did, the illusion faded and the hot Texas sun returned. "Save the quips for outside the car...." Lucy unclasped the seatbelt after a moment to recover, and quickly put her weight into shoving the door open and taking up a cover position behind it as she quietly motioned for the others to quickly follow as she made quick scan of the area, the roadside and the condition of the car, pausing only a moments hesitation with a side glance back to the toppled supplies in the back area...including all the jerky that must be protected at all costs.

Fortunately, her glove had not adhered to her hand (or at least not yet), and Suzie would be able to rid herself of the sticky object by losing the glove. Unfortunately, her shoes were another story and unlike the glove, it would be very unwise to try and take them off.

Genesis would return to the aether, although what bits had firmly been stuck to the concrete would be pulled off. Thanks to her quick thinking, it was a little more akin to ripping tape off a hairy patch of skin.

    "KILL!!"

Raising both of its stubby arms upward, the stand slowly lowered its limbs. In response, the top of the van began to cave inward as if a massive weight had been placed atop of it.

Miguel managed to grab a big assortment of bottled waters and iced teas and headed over towards one of the the counters. "Yo, can I get two bags for these, please?" he inquired to the cashier.

Miguel would find the poor cashier in a pitiable condition, with both her hands and the side of her face stuck to the counter. Unbeknownst to most, the woman had tried to dislodge her feet from the ground, only to trip and resulting in her current predictament.

"Please..." She whimpered to him, "Please help me!"

The same realization that Suzie had would come to him as he could feel the cold drinks quickly attaching to his arms.

"Hey, what..." Miguel paused taking a minute to consider how one would end up in this situation. He would soon discover that he was in much of the same predicament. once he attempted to set the drinks down to offer assistance. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, what kinda..." Miguel turned his head, perplexed, attempting to shake his arms loose of the drinks, attempting to loosen them up from whatever had caused them to cling to him in the first place.

When Sandra climbed out of the van to join her "sisters" against the unknown maniac who thought standing in the middle of the fucking street was just a great idea, she squinted her eyes as she beheld him. "The **** is that?" she muttered.

    "Wait, ****!"

It was one of those two jackasses from the bus! Those fucking psychos nearly killed them all, along with that dickhead driver. She growled and sheathed one of her knives. "Fucker wants to join his boy in hell. Let's give 'im a one-way ticket!"

「Bring Me The Throne」 materialized in Sandra's empty hand. The book had proven its worth in the wee hours of that morning against "Debra". It was time to see what kind of fucking crazy **** it could do in a fight. "Go Stand Go!" she shouted as she hurled the book at George with all her might.

Twitching slightly as [Genesis] returned, Jinny managed, somehow to hold it together and stay calm. Unable to move her feet, and unarmed, her mind raced with thoughts about what to do. As she did, she continued to calmly look at her attacker, and did the one thing that occasionally worked in situations likes this, at least in the movies, "So, tell me, which terrorist organization are you with?"

John, meanwhile had been waiting in the van for the others, not seeing any need to go inside. However, upon noticing the commotion, he exited and approached the truck stop, as covertly as he could.
