That's too expensive. We can't possibly have superpowers in a superhero show, can we?

More episodes and better thought out storylines, for sure.
You’ve just helped me understand the cw’s mentality towards their super shows.

Nearly turned it off after the first few minutes of this episode after Gar turns into his new super hyped up beast transformation a bat, who can mind control or influence other bats to carry Dick to the pit. The pit which also changes your clothes for you apparently.

And a predictable sequence with Dick reflecting on how he got to this point and vowing to be a better Dick.

Unite the Titans he says as he leaves the them to go find Jason and ask for his help to stop Crane. Jason says they can't stop Crane...uh, yeah you can you can go to the f'n Cave and kick his ass. Easy peasy.

I like Connor Leslie, but what they have her doing as Donna is just dumb and boring. Like this show is bound and determined to never have them together actually doing stuff.

Now that I think about it...I wouldn't be surprised, since everyone is getting resurrections handed out like they were coming from Oprah, if Hank isn't brought back to life so it can make Jason look better.

It's like Statham's character in the Fast/Furious movies. He fn killed Han but everyone was all chummy with him after Fast 8 and then they retcon Han's death to make it OK to be chummy with Shaw.

All the seasons/episodes seem like really poorly written fan films. There's fan films on YouTube that are better executed than this. But I don't think fans would think half the... stuff... in the show up. It's like a comic book written by a third grader and their middle school sibling who likes to swear to be edgy... and pornbooths for confessional fantasies.

Turning into a bat and picking up Dick with a bat flock. OMG! A bag of guns to fight the cops! A secret stash. I hope that these folks never try to take over Dallas. Thousand and thousands of AR-15s would come out of the closets, all legal! The Resistance. Lots of combat vets in many cities.

I hear Home Depot will install a Lazarus pit in your basement for a reasonable price.

Of course, to make this work, the Feds and state Governments have abandoned Gotham. That cliche in taking over Goatham, yet again, is getting rather bathetic.

Can they make the Superhero genre more ridiculous? All the DC shows are so poorly written as to be laughable.

"Why would I want to go home, they hate me"

    10min later

"I'm going home, I'm their queen"

Women wonder why men are confused. This summarizes it in a nutshell.

    "So I'm a Titan again?"
    "No"
At least the writers got that one right.

I've lost track of suicidal Bruce post-Donna save. He just getting his head on straight, or what passes for that with Bruce hanging with Dr. Thompkins? My head canon is saying yes until I'm told otherwise.

So Scarecrow also has adopted tossing out little riddles and brain teasers now? Do they writers know who their bad guy is? Is it Scarecrow, Riddler or perhaps Cluemaster?

Did Barbara really expect to get Oracle online. She is aware Crane took it over...cause he also a grade A tech hound like say Calculator. But again the writers aren't sure who their bad guy is 1/2 time.

I’m in the minority, but I loved this episode, especially that goofy bat transformation Gar makes. This show just finds new ways to be unintentionally ridiculous it’s funny. If I ever become adept at the screenwriting and storytelling enough to teach a screenplay class and I’m going to show students episodes of Titans as an example of what NOT to do when telling a story. So many instances of bad writing and storytelling in this silly show that it’s a perfect show to learn on how you shouldn’t write characters.

Let's be honest, no one really cares about Cluemaster

Really sad that the first live-action Tim Drake is for something this bad.

I have to vehemently disagree with the all part. Doom patrol, Swamp thing, Superman and Lois and stargirl have all been pretty will written shows. Arrow had a couple of good seasons at the start, as did Flash (well maybe couple is a stretch maybe parts of seasons). Supergirl pre CW was passable (just).

It was reported Stargirl and Titans had the same special effects budget. That's unbelievable to me, Stargirl has good looking special effects and aren't afraid to show it. Titans has to have crazy plot contrivances to avoid showing everyone's powers.

Do you have a link to where it was reported. I'd like to see how they make the equivalency. If it's the same budget per episode it might be the difference in episode count. Stargirl has 13 eps to Titans 12. As such SG might have more overall dollars. They have had the odd episode heavily plot and character driven that doesn't have much special effects which may allow greater spend on those episodes that are effects heavy. There's also a lot of effects achieved thru wire work and blue screen that is relatively cheap effects.

I agree that the effects look much better on Stargirl than Titans

*Sigh*, it isn't about who cares about him.

It's the writers being all over the map with Scarecrow, just randomly assigning him attributes he doesn't have.
